About the painting:
- 4th of August (bombing, rebuilding)
4th of August one of the dates that cannot be forgotten to Lebanon. Beirut.
No words could have described the heartbreak when I heard the news about the explosion in Beirut. It was a disaster. It was catastrophic. It was difficult for me to find words to express my feelings and I didn’t know how to help in order to rebuild Beirut. Therefore, I was able to send my deepest sadness and condolences through art. Also, I had this along with other paintings from the series of “Live Love Beirut” for sale in order to raise money and all proceedings went for donations to NGO’s in Lebanon. I felt this was the way I could lend a helping hand.
